Marsing Parents, As the secondary school began this morning, a fire alarm was activated, and everyone evacuated the building. There was no fire, and everyone was safe. The issue resulted from loose balloons from last week’s basketball game that covered a fire detection sensor and initiated the evacuation notice. Students were outside of the building for about 10 minutes, and once the building was determined to be safe, all students reentered the building and started their day. No hubo fuego, y todos estaban a salvo. El problema se debió a globos sueltos del juego de baloncesto de la semana pasada que cubrieron un sensor de detección de incendios e iniciaron el aviso de evacuación. Los estudiantes estuvieron fuera del edificio durante unos 10 minutos, y una vez que se determinó que el edificio era seguro, todos los estudiantes volvieron a entrar al edificio y comenzaron su día. If your student needs to replace a lost or damaged bus ID please go to the District Office, located in the HUB. Once the fee is paid a new card will be issued. Thank you for your patience as we work though this process.

There will be a parent meeting for middle school girls’ basketball and wrestling parents on Monday, October 31 at 5pm in the old gym. Marsing Middle School Halloween Dress Up Day Students can wear costumes if they follow the rules: - Only Monday, October 31 - No blood, weapons, or masks - Hats are only allowed if they are clearly part of a costume If you have questions, please let us know.

Dear Marsing Community, Thank you to all of the people who came out to Friday night's football game and cheered on our boys, no matter the score or the officiating. We appreciate that you recognize that the field, court, mat, track, and course are all extensions of the classroom. Those adults were modeling excellent sportsmanship even with the frustration from events taking place on the field. That positive behavior demonstrates to our athletes how they need to behave in those situations. For those fans who struggle in this area, please examine your behavior before attending Marsing sporting events. Marsing Athletics stands with the NFHS to say that Enough is Enough. Fans exhibiting bad behavior will be asked to leave. Thank you for your support of our student-athletes. Go Huskies!

Fundraiser Delivery Cookie dough will be delivered on Thursday, October 13th. You can pick up your student’s items between 2 and 4 in Rm 104 of the middle school.
