CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
Mr. Pfeifer Room 203

  1. Treat others and their opinions in this room with respect!!!
  2. Cell phones, sunglasses, headphones and IPODS are strictly prohibited in room 203.   
  3. Assignments are to be turned in on the day they are due. For each day  your assignment is late 10 points will be deducted from your overall grade.   
    If you have an excused absence you will one extra day to turn it in.
  4. Bring a pen to class every day (black or blue ink, no red ink). You must use a pen for all assignments. Use of pencil on assignments will be loss of credit. If you need to borrow a pen from me, collateral is accepted. You may also purchase a pen from me for 25 cents.
  5. When you need an answer to an assignment: Ask three students before
    me. ASK THREE BEFORE ME RULE.
  6. Food and drink, except for water, belong outside this room.
  7. Before you leave this room, make sure the desks are clean and straightened, and the trash is picked up.
  8. If you need something of mine ask. Please keep out of my desk and personal things.

Any situation not specifically covered by the above rules will be dealt with on an individual basis.                                                   

In American Government Class only some of the infractions above may result in a student mock court.

GRADES
Each assignment and assessment two or more a week is given a specific number of points. Your grade is based upon total possible number of points.
Example: 200 points possible
    200-180 A (100-90%)
    179-160 B (89-80%)
    159- 140C (79- 70%)
    139- 120D (69-60%)
    119-    0 F (59%-0%)
