Welcome to Marsing High School

Dear Parents and Students:

The mission of Marsing School District is to educate all students to lead productive, satisfying and responsible lives now and in the future.  In order for us to be able to complete this mission we need your help.  We need our parents, students and staff to work together as a team to provide the best education possible for our students.  The school promises to provide the following characteristics to be effective:

This handbook was designed to give you useful information about Marsing High School and the rules under which our school operates.  It is very important you and your child read and understand the handbook. The basis of this handbook comes from Marsing School District Policy and Procedure Manual.  If you have any concerns, comments or questions about this handbook or its contents, please feel free to contact me at my office, or consult the district’s policy manual.  There are copies at the high school and district offices.

Marsing High School is a closed campus.  This means that students are not allowed to leave the campus during lunchtime or any other time during school without written or verbal permission from their parent or guardian through the high school office.

Words cannot express my excitement about working with you this coming school year.  I have a very strong desire to make Marsing High School a place where you feel welcome, students succeed and staff enjoys working.  Using teamwork, we can make this a reality.  Our students deserve nothing less.

Sincerely,

Wade Pilloud
