I hope your summer vacation was a good one. The PTA has some great things planned for this year. 

Thanks to Teri Smit we were able to secure a date for the Missoula Children's Theater to come to Marsing. We will have 2 performances of The Little Mermaid. We are looking to hold the Trunk or Treat and the Spring Carnival again this year, and are working on an art inspired fundraiser called Original Works.

One of our first goals is to hold an official election this year. We are asking everyone to promote the PTA. Please look for anyone who you would like to nominate (they need to be willing to serve) for any of our board positions. We are taking nominations for President, Vice, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Committee Chair, Grant Committee Chair, Newsletter/Publishing Chair and Historian. We would also love to have a Parliamentarian this year if we can find someone familiar with Roberts Rule of Order. If you need any more info about the responsibilities of any of these offices let me know. We welcome any staff or teachers in any of these offices as well.
